What are the 10 most memorable music performances you've seen? (Remember, "memorable" may not be good.)

Great question! now I can reminisce all day!
How to pick just ten?!!
I will stick with live performances which I attended:
- Prince
- Ted Leo scatting through 'The High Party' because it didn't yet have lyrics!
- Cat Power way back when, never getting past the first verse of any song before stopping to mumble 'I am really bad at this'.
- Grace Jones
- James Brown
- The Makeup when they first started at some club in Pittsburgh and everyone saying ' is that a wig?' as Ian/Spiv whatever the heck his name is, flailed on the floor in the middle of a crowd of confused NOU fans.
- !!! - making a room of surly hipsters loose their cool and boggie all night at the Hosiery in DC
- Aus Rotten, Frodus and Anti-Flag playing in the Duquesne University inflatable soccer field bubble complete with astro turf becuase it was just so weirdly pleasing to see dirty-ass punk kids in a space-age hermetically sealed bubble.
- Any New Years eve in Richmond with The Ululating Mummies, but I am specifically thinking of The Flood Zone so that had to be a loooong time ago!
- Unidentified jazz trio playing the Peanuts X-mas music on the Essex st Subway platform in NYC this winter.
now im on a roll... it's hard to stop! I need to just go see a show now!
2) And wow, doesn't Pat look good!
I keep editing this post, today as I re-watch the video. ( let's just say it's Obsessive Friday over here in Mica land)
3) I can't wait to be a hot older woman. I always felt I'd get better with age.
The Ukelele Orchestra of Great Britain rocks!
In preperation for Valentines Day here is their most excellent cover of Kate Bush's Wuthering Heights.
And as if that wasn't enough, here they are performing Smells Like Teen Spirit.
How can you not fall in love with these Uke-eys...Ukers...whatever.
The Internet Archive is host to lots of great content but recently became obsessed with a collection I hadn't spent much time with before now. The Live Music Archive, features live show recordings from hundreds of 'trade-friendly' bands - so that means no RIAA guilt trip!
Look how many bands have collections of live shows that you can download for free here!
I have found many of favorite live acts including, Calexico, Ted Leo+Pharmacists and the list goes on
I am currently enjoying Throwing Muses Live at The Catalyst on 1991-05-24
( Wow ! I am very happy!)
The recoding qualities vary but if you're like me and you love the raw energy from a live performance you will be more than satisfied.
Speaking of which, probably time I finally got an MP3 player - now that I have a gym membership and something that might keep me motivated to actually use it...
Because it's not enough to just be an awesome dance band who makes life better by giving people something to seriously get down to..
"The Scissor Sisters are to donate some proceeds from their latest UK tour to charity. The
New York band will help 17 organisations in total, giving money raised
during last month's UK arena tour."
