Tudor'd
Cool thing about Vox is that I can really easily change the look of my blog. I feel like I am free shopping when i get to go to the design gallery and in one click change my blog design. So EASY. TOO EASY! Back in my day blogging was hard work. You patted yourself on the back each time you figured out how to change one tiny thing. Damn you Vox?!! Making this easy and attractive.
Speaking of attractive. The new tv series at Showtime is The Tudors and it is full of attractive people in beautiful costumes. I have had the pleasure of working with some of the ever-helpful members of Team Vox to create a blog and group for The Tudors. Mena even helped us design a unique Vox theme for The Tudors in two colors!
AND we were able to get full legnth episodes streaming within the page!
Back in the day (here i go again), when I first started working with online video, embedding entire episodes of TV shows (from premium cable?!) into a blog was unimaginable. So now, not only is a network providing content for free and without advertising online, they are inviting people to add their responses to a collective group blog and helping to promote everyone's blogs?! That's just crazy!
We are also going to be posting some weekly discussion topics related to each episode to spark some discussion on the larger issues of Tudor era history. Thankfully, we have a Tudor history buff in the office because I am hoping to get myself a little educated as well.
